was revisin for exams then decided to take a lil break.
did some blog hopping, ended up reading an entry from my cousin's (distant cousin) blog.
her grandmother just passed away and i feel from her words the hurt and anguish inside her heart.
it was shocking to find out that she passed away so suddenly.
there werent really any signs so i guess it was really unexpected.
made me think for a while, how life is so fragile.
she wrote in her blog the common phrase we always hear, you never know how important something is until you lose it.
sure everyone knows this by now.
we often think it, often say it to ourselves, often say it to others but i guess we dont really know what it feels like.not till we truly experienced it.
and even if we do, time erodes this feeling away.
we start to behave like we did before, not cherishing the things dear to us.
ever wondered how we can treat our family members so shabbily?
even better than total strangers?
when we are out, we are polite enough to say excuse me or im sorry to a total stranger but when we are at home, we often get pissed by litle insignificant things.
i feel guilty when i look back at how i lost my temper to my parents, my sis, my bf and even my friends.
maybe its because we are so close and comfortable with these people, and that we dont feel a need to BE NICE anymore.
its like we are taking them for granted.
even if we dont mean it deep down, we have to show it.otherwise, how would they know?
i really hope for myself that i learn to do things right.
wouldnt want to have any regrets when its all too late.
reflections are good, provided you stick to them.
